Made in France, lovingly crafted, this candle making tradition is known for seasonal limited releases . Sculptured candles and whimsey draw your attention, but the basic candles produced for over 100 years bring customers back each month. Their candles and fragrances are so divine that they are the private label manufacturer for premium brands such as: Gucci, Luis Vuitton, L'Occitane, and Prada to name a few.
The perforated tapers (above left), still in the line after 100 years, are made with drilled channels to catch drips and re-burn the wax. Know that you need to order promptly and that reorders in seasonal stock may not be possible...The slow and clean burning tapers, now stocked in the US, come in 32 colors in either 8" or 10". Prices have gone down with the US warehouse, to retails of $1.66 & $2.10.
Jar candles are 50/50 vegetable and food grade parafin wax. The palm wax is sustainably harvested from non GMO 'RSPO' palm forests, so that trees are re-forested. Otherwise, wax is all European in origin, saving consumers from the benzene found in so many 'economy' waxes. Fragrances are from the perfume capital of the world, Grasse, France.
